Level Two Audit Training: Systems Factors: Governance, Leadership, and Support Services
This 3 1/2 day program is designed to prepare participants to examine and evaluate system-based issues in order to optimize the delivery of effective teaching and learning.
Along with an overview of audit premises, standards, internal reviews, and external auditing, the program addresses the following topics:

Day 1:
- Establishing a rationale for quality curriculum management policies
- Using audit criteria for policy analysis
Day 2: Board / Superintendent / Management / Staff Relationships / Organizational Structure
- Distinguishing roles
- Establishing relationships
- Designing a table of organization using audit criteria
- Determining components of job description using audit criteria
Day 3: Planning and Change / Budget and Goal Priorities
- Establishing a planning approach
- Using audit criteria for plan development
- Planning major intervention for change
- Integrating staff development into plans for change
- Using performance driven budgeting
- Establishing the relationship between planning and budgeting
Day 4: Support Services
- Developing long-range facility planning expectations
- Using audit criteria to observe facilities
- Establishing service design and delivering evaluation approaches
